Hydronic Heat-Pumps – The most efficient way to heat and cool
Efficiency of Heat-Pumps
Around the world the important role of Inverter heat-pumps is increasingly recognised. With COP factors of up to 5 (1kw electrical energy transformed to 5kw heating energy), heat pumps are far superior over other heat sources. In comparison, electrical oil-radiator heaters have a COP of 1.
Hydronic Heat-Pumps
Hydronic heat-pumps are mono-block units. This means that the heat exchange happens all within the outdoor unit. No refrigerant outside the heat-pump is required, only water. That eliminates the risk of refrigerant leaks inside the house and is beneficial to the environment, as only a relatively small amount of refrigerant is required.
Multi Task Champion
A single hydronic heat-pump can heat and cool two separate systems on demand. With the right size of heat-pump and its DC-Inverter technology, it can serve multiple applications, such as:
Warmth is providing hydronic underfloor heating and hot water heat pumps in New Zealand for over twelve years. Based in Christchurch, the company focuses on delivering hydronic solutions optimised for the harsh New Zealand weather conditions. With their extensive hydronic heat pump experience, Warmth selected and qualified state-of-the-art heat pump technology using market-leading components and combined it with cost-efficient production. The units offer remarkable performance and quality at an affordable price.
