Further Information

PERFORMANCE
The Reversus 3 is equipped with a counter-flow heat exchanger with up to 93% efficiency and speed-controllable EC fans (centrifugal, backward curved) for ventilation on demand operation. The summer bypass option allows free cooling in the summer, when the house is warmer than the air outside.

STRUCTURE
The Reversus 3 is manufactured using a self-supporting structure in 23 mm thick sandwich panels, insulated in polyurethane foam. The external part of the structure is manufactured in plastic-filmed sheet metal in grey. Inside, the Reversus 3 is made out of Aluzinc.

FILTER
The Reversus 3 is using a F7 filter (PM2,5 filtration of 70%) for the renewed air flow and a G4 for the extraction air flow to keep the ducting and heat-exchanger clean.
Access to the filters is easy thanks to the two specific openings on the front panel. The unit is also available with an enthalpy heat exchanger to allow the recovering of sensible and latent energy from the air for the cold and dry regions in New Zealand.

CONNECTION
The Reversus 2 is for installation inside buildings with an ambient temperature between 15°C and 45°C. It can be installed on a wall with connections for renewal air and expulsion air on the top and for connections to supply and extraction ducts you can choose to use the connections available on the top or bottom of the unit (or both).

CONTROLS
The REVERSUS is supplied with a coloured HD touch display, which can be wall-mounted and gives you intuitive viewing of the working status of the unit and allows precise adjustment of ventilation, also through a weekly time schedule.
The controller manages automatically the summer bypass, prevents frosting of the heat exchanger and warns the user of the need to replace the filters. With its pressure sensors the unit ensures always a balanced ventilation, even if the filters start to build up back-pressure.
The unit’s control board allows to connect an external switch for boost function and is ready for the integration in a home automation system (Modbus protocol with Ethernet connection). The implemented webserver allows interaction with the machine, even with an internet browser of a device connected (also from remote).

HEATING & COOLING
The Reversus can be ducted to a pre and post heater:

Pre-Heater
The electrical pre-heater of the Reversus if mainly to keep the heat-exchanger ice-free in the colder regions of the country. It also helps to make up for the heat/loss due to ventilation. Once connected, it is fully controlled by the Reversus unit.

Post-Heater/Cooler
The post-heater/cooler is a hydronic Coil Unit which can be ducted to the Reversus unit. Once connected, it is fully controlled by the Reversus unit. The coil unit requires hot/cold water for its operation, which can be supplied by a hydronic heat-pump. The Coil Unit is capable of delivering a heating/ cooling performance of up to 7.6kW.
